Consultations at Eastwood Medical Centre
For those patients who have a Medicare Card, most consultations are Bulk Billed to Medicare.
For those patients who do not have a Medicare Card, our staff can tell you the fees.
These fees vary depending on the time and complexity of the visit.
Some consultations do not qualify for a Medicare Rebate, such as insurance and pre-employment medicals. For these services, it is best to ask us about our fees.
For consultations that are not bulk billed, payment will be required at the time of the consultation. We have credit card and EFTPOS facilities available.
Home Visit Consultations
The fees for home visits start at $85.00. Please note that home visits are only available for regular patients of our practice when their doctor feels it is the most appropriate management.
After Hours Consultations
If you have not arranged a home visit with your doctor, and an after-hours visit is needed, we have an arrangement with the “Home Doctor Service”. The “Home Doctor Service” are available to be called on 13 74 25. Please be aware that this service does not always Bulk Bill. Please feel free to ask our staff for one of their cards or magnets.
In case of an emergency, however, it maybe necessary to go straight to hospital.
